Note to self

Think you have time

…we do don’t we?  I’ll do that next summer or when the kids have left home or when I retire…    I’ll do that thing or have that conversation or work on that issue…

This is a reminder to:  be who you need to be and say what you need to say; and to do what you love because who knows what tomorrow might bring…

  1. I heard someone give a fantastic presentation once about making the best of every season of your life and not putting things off until the wedding is over or you have kids or the kids are grown up and left the house etc. Can be easy to put life off but the only time we have is the present ☺. Thank you for the post

    1. Thanks for commenting. I keep having to remind myself that now is all we really have, so tend to say it often on my blog. On the other hand I’ve made a number of new starts recently -things I’d been wanting to do and while I’m a novice at those I’m proud of what I’ve started to achieve. So it’s been a good way to start 2016. Thanks again for your comment 🙂

  2. So true. Whilst it doesn’t hurt to have plans for the future, we have to be mindful of the present. No holding back on what you’re currently feeling, own the moment & avoid the regret of putting things off. Thanks for sharing!

    1. I agree. Having plans can be great, and necessary but doing something now is the first step to taking control and stepping forward. I like how you’ve summed it up: ‘No holding back on what you’re currently feeling, own the moment & avoid the regret of putting things off.’ If I were your teacher I’d give you an A+ for reflecting back my thoughts!!! 🙂
